Without bushings, the control arm would be mounted to the frame, causing metal-to-metal contact. A worn bushing can affect handling or alignment. Your car may pull slightly or aggressively, depending on wear. A worn bushing can also cause metal-to-metal contact, which will result in clunking noises when going over bumps. This is for both the front lower control arms.2 required per vehicle, 1 per side.
